San José, el subcampeón nacional que jugará la Copa Libertadores, como parte del grupo 5, y ante ciertas cuestionantes que hizo público el club Corinthians de Brasil, que puso en cuestión el viaje de La Paz a Oruro por vía terrestre, a falta de aeropuerto, salió al paso el titular del club, Fredy Fernández, quien pone en manos de la Gobernación la atención a este tema, y además el referido a las condiciones precarias de la iluminación del estadio Bermúdez.
“Como club, no podemos hacer nada, estamos atados de manos, y de no darse solución a estos asuntos, tendríamos que ver de jugar nuestros partidos en La Paz o en Cochabamba”, dijo en tono seguro el directivo.
Fernández, sin embargo, dejó entrever que estos temas serían debidamente atendidos por las autoridades respectivas, y que la parcialidad del “Santo” debe estar al pendiente de los acontecimientos. Como instituciones hemos cumplido para darles una participación en la Libertadores, pero el que se juegue en casa escapa a neuestras posibilidades”, anotó Fernández.
