Según el informe brindado por los organizadores de la "Teletón todos por el Santo", la recaudación preliminar es de 163.303 bolivianos más 985 dólares americanos. Esta campaña finalizó anoche en ambientes de Canal 13 RTVU, con el apoyo de varios medios, periodistas deportivos, miembros del Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Prensa de Oruro y Asociación de Periodistas y Productores Independices.
Según el informe preliminar que brindó uno de los principales responsables en la organización, Jorge Huanca, se recaudó ese monto luego del conteo de 24 latas habilitadas para el aporte de los hinchas del equipo de San José.
En el cierre de la campaña no estuvieron los directivos del club orureño, de manera que en el curso de hoy la gente interesada en aportar, aún puede hacerlo, eso tomando en cuenta que hay un par de latas que todavía no se abrieron, al margen la cuenta bancaria está habilitada, lo que significa que con el transcurrir de las horas el monto global irá aumentando.
El objetivo de esta Teletón "Todos por el Santo" era llegar al millón de bolivianos, sin embargo no se pudo lograr ese propósito. "Veremos qué podemos hacer para aumentar la cifra que se recaudó, seguramente nos reuniremos con los directivos del club San José, las autoridades de la alcaldía y la gobernación, para tomar algunas decisiones, eso sí queda claro que este dinero que estamos recaudando no es para pagar deudas, sino para armar un buen equipo", afirmó Huanca.
